How Do I Take This Challenge?

  1. First objective is to become comfortable around people. Once a week find a busy coffee shop, take a book, newspaper or tablet.
  2. Order a coffee and find a comfortable place to read
  3. Spend the next 2 hours sitting and reading
  4. Take note of how you feel every so often
  5. Notice the tension in your body, your body language and be mindful of where you're looking.
  6. Come back and share your thoughts with others completing this challenge
  7. Check In Everyday!

Tips

  1. If you can find the time to do this more frequently then do it
  2. If you feel like you've achieved enough after the first hour, don't leave, persevere it really is worthwhile
  3. If you can put the book down do it
  4. This is a challenge that only become easier with practice, you'll find the last week infinitely easier than the first and the second hour much easier than the first.
  5. If you're feeling relaxed and someone makes eye contact with you, smile
