How Do I Take This Challenge?
- First objective is to become comfortable around people. Once a week find a busy coffee shop, take a book, newspaper or tablet.
- Order a coffee and find a comfortable place to read
- Spend the next 2 hours sitting and reading
- Take note of how you feel every so often
- Notice the tension in your body, your body language and be mindful of where you're looking.
- Come back and share your thoughts with others completing this challenge
- Check In Everyday! Even if you don't complete the challenge
Why should I use this site to take this challenge?
Tips
- If you can find the time to do this more frequently then do it
- If you feel like you've achieved enough after the first hour, don't leave, persevere it really is worthwhile
- If you can put the book down do it
- This is a challenge that only become easier with practice, you'll find the last week infinitely easier than the first and the second hour much easier than the first.
- If you're feeling relaxed and someone makes eye contact with you, smile
