5 Simple Things I Learned That Actually Improved My Life

2. Meditation Has Given Me Super Powers

It's such a shame that most people think meditation is a spiritual practice. If you're one of those people you might be surprised to learn it's CEO's, athletes and the stressed out that are flocking to it these days. They don't meditate for enlightenment. Imagine being in a heated boardroom full of hot heads but remaining perfectly calm? Imagine being able to focus on important stuff for hours on end without needing to check your phone, facebook or twitter? Imagine ending each day almost completely stress free and sleeping like a baby because of it. Stick it out for a few months and your brain literally increases grey matter density (and that stuff is really important). It's another give it a go and try for your self type thing, but you'll have to give this one a few weeks to really start reaping the rewards.

1. You Must Learn Everyday

I believe in order to feel pride in who you are you must strive to become all that you can be. Who you become as a person will impact you more than anything you acquire. Who you become affects your well being and experience of the world in ways nothing else can touch. More than extraordinary circumstances it is extraordinary people with extraordinary psychologies that create extraordinary lives. I make learning a priority everyday because a mind not pushed, not exercised and expanded will like everything else in this world dwindle away. If you've made it this far I believe you probably hold a similar view! Take the challenge of reading a chapter each night I highly recommend it.

None of This Matters if You Don't Act

You might have heard the phrase "Knowledge is power"? Wrong. Knowledge is only powerful if you apply it. Knowing doesn't make a difference, what you do with your knowledge will determine the quality of your life. Maybe none of my points really clicked with you, perhaps you're already doing them! But if they did and you believe you should be doing them, I hope they move you to action! Just start, you don't have to think about finishing, just start right now!

Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.
